Missing teeth make it harder to chew, can change your speech and make the face look older. Dentures are removable replacement teeth made to fit your mouth.
We make complete dentures for people who have lost all their teeth and partial dentures to fill gaps between remaining teeth, adjusting them until they are comfortable.
Dentures can help if you
- Have lost several or all of your teeth
- Find it difficult to chew food properly
- Have an old denture that is loose or painful
- Want a removable, affordable way to replace missing teeth
How dentures are made
- Examination of the gums and remaining teeth.
- Impressions and bite records are taken.
- A trial set lets you check appearance and fit before the final denture is made.
- The final denture is fitted and adjusted for comfort.

Dentures: frequently asked questions
How long does it take to get used to dentures?
Most people adapt within a few weeks. Start with soft food cut into small pieces and practise speaking aloud.
Should I sleep with my dentures?
It is usually best to remove them at night to give your gums a rest, and to keep them clean in water.
My old denture is loose. Can it be fixed?
Often yes. A loose denture can sometimes be relined; if it is very old or worn, a new one may be better.
